Cancellation policies and other terms
To guarantee a reservation, the passenger’s information should be faxed or emailed, and the payment should be made upon confirmation.
Special information such as date changes, special meals, lodging, etc, should be written by email or fax to our office at the time of initial reservation.
When making a reservation, the client should ask for written confirmation from our Reservations Department as a guarantee.
Charges for cancelled tours that require lodging are subject to individual hotel cancellation policies.
Any tour cancellations made without 48 hours prior notice will be charged in full (one day tours).
In case of “no show” the service will be charged according to our regular fee. The Guide of each tour will wait 5 minutes for a passenger after the specific pick up time. Then, he will ask the Hotel to stamp his document in order to prove that he was there at the time and he will continue the tour. The client will be charged as a “no show”.
A Hotel or a Special Package / Individual Itinerary cancellation:
- 45 days before the arrival date, the hotel will refund the complete payment and there will be no penalty.
- 44 to 30 days before the arrival date, the hotel will refund 50% to Ecogetaways Travels Designs and clients.
- 29 to 0 days before the arrival date, the hotel will charge 100% to Ecogetaways Travels Designs and clients and there will be no refund.
Ecogetaways Travels Designs acts only as an agent for the passenger in regard to travel, whether by car, motorcoach, railroad, boat or plane and assumes no liability during such travel for injury damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned whether by reason or defect in any vehicle or for any reason whatsoever, or through the acts of default of any company or person engaged in covering the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour.
Ecogetaways Travels Designs cannot be held responsible for losses or additional expenses due to delay, hotel or airline irregularities, sickness, weather or any other causes.
Ecogetaways Travels Designs assumes no liability for the loss of personal effects or baggage.
Children Tour policies:Passengers over the age of 10 years will pay the normal adult fee. Passengers between the ages of 3-10 are considered children. Their fee is 75% of the adult fee
Passengers under 3 years old are considered infants and do not have any charge. Parents will assume their expenses and provide their meals.
Other Policies:Ecogetaways Travels Designs reserves the right to change the route of any tour if it is considered to be beneficial to the client. Ecogetaways Travels Designs reserves the right to exclude any participant in the tour if his/her behavior is in anyway injurious to the welfare of the group.
